17. SMS EMERGENCY ALERT TERMS

Account holders and the Health Care Agent and Alternate Health Care Agent they list can receive automated alert text messages from Blood Docs when the account holder's emergency QR code is scanned, and when the person helping shares their general location. By checking the SMS consent box for an agent, you confirm that person agreed to receive these texts; by checking it for your own number, you agree to receive them. Each number first receives one confirmation text, and alerts start only after a reply of YES. Message frequency varies (only when the QR code is used). Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to cancel at any time; reply START to resume or HELP for help. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Texts are alerts only and are not a substitute for calling 911.
